The Traditional Chinese Medicine Resources Research Center provides high-quality raw materials guarantee for the R&D projects of TCM and the quality research of TCM and decoction pieces. Since its establishment, more than 300 kinds of Chinese medicinal materials have been investigated, Chinese medicinal materials resources basic information database has been established, and more than 100 kinds of Chinese medicinal materials resource evaluation reports have been finished. In addition, relying on the classical formula projects, we have conducted textual research on process methods, research and verification of modern processing technology, and research on quality standards of nearly 200 kinds of decoction pieces. At the same time, the quality analysis of nearly 10,000 batches of Chinese medicinal materials and decoction pieces collected was conducted, and a comprehensive quality evaluation service system for Chinese medicinal materials and decoction pieces, which is objective, accurate and efficient, was established. It provides comprehensive and reliable resources and technical support for the Dispensing Granule Research Center, The New Chinese Medicine Research Center, and Chinese Classical Formulas Research Center.
